19 September 2013 1st Hour Technology and Success 6th Grade Warmup

The newton (symbol: N) is the International System of Units (SI) derived unit of force. It is named after Isaac Newton in recognition of his work on classical mechanics, specifically Newton's second law of motion.

To will investigate the connection between weight, mass, the size of a planet, and gravitational force.

We will complete the experiment together.

If you do not have a username or password I will demonstrate how to complete an account to the whole class.  You should have created an account when we reviewed usernames and passwords.  When we have completed the experiment together answer the questions, "Why would you weight less on Mars?"

    Why I Would Weigh Different
I Would Way Less On Mars Because There Gravity Is Much Smaller Than Earth. I Would Weigh Less Also Because Mars Is Just A Smaller Planet Then Earth.

  2. Jessie C. why would you weigh less on mars?
i would weigh less on mars because mars is 1 3rd of what earth is.

why you weigh less on Mars

you would weigh less on mars.you would weigh less on mars because it has less gravity.thats what my answer is

Why would you weigh less on mars.First, you can go on the website to find how much you weigh on mars and other planets .Next,Because mars is smaller planet than Earth.

    Mars weight
This is why we weigh less on mars. The mass of the planet causes gravity change. The bigger the planet the more you weigh. The small the planet the less you weigh. On mars you weigh less because it is smaller.

    Mars Weight
This is why we weigh less on mars. The mass of the planet causes a gravitational change on weight.

I would weigh less on mars because mars is a smaller planet than earth is.Also there is less 1 third of gravity on mars out of 3 thirds on earth.

Why Do You Weigh Less on Earth

We weigh less on Mars because Mars is smaller than Earth and less newtons are pulling down on us.There is less gravity on Mars so we don't weigh as much.Gravity on Earth has more effect on us than on Mars.

    Weight and Mass
Today we are going to learn about weight and mass.Today in class we will learn why we wight less in Mars.We weight less in Mars because it is a smaller planet. We weight more on Earth because of gravity pulls us down and on the moon their is no gravity so we just float around.

    Weight on Mars
Your weight on mars changes from yours on earth! If you way 95 pounds on earth you would way 35.5 on mars. Because of all the newtons on earth its different cause earth is bigger than mars. That's what i have to say about weight on mars

    I weigh less on Mars.
I weigh less on Mars than on Earth because, it has a mass of only one-third compared to Earth. Also because, it has less mass and less gravity.

The reason you weigh less on mars. The reason you weigh less on mars is because there is no gravitational pull. There is also another reason why and that is because Mars has less mass than on earth therefore you would weigh less.

    NEWTONS

Why would you weigh less on mars.first is because the mass couses the gravity to change.last you weigh less on mars because its smaller.

why do you weight more on Jupiter.
the reason is Jupiter is bigger so you weight more and it is bigger gravity.

    Mars Weight

Why would you weigh less on mars I will tell you why.
One reason is that earth has stronger gravity.
Also the reason is because earth is bigger witch means it has a bigger middle that can pull harder then a small middle.

    Weight on Mars

We would weigh less on Mars because Earth has more mass than Mars. First, Earth is bigger than Mars, and the bigger the planet the more mass it has. Next, Earth's mass is much greater than Mars's mass. Last, the gravitational pull of a planet effects our weight, but not our mass. In conclusion, we would weigh less on Mars, But more on Earth.

    Weight on Mars
Wight on Mars is funny, so if you weight is 100 pounds on Mars you wight is 34 pounds. it has les gravity on earth then mars.

  19. It is the gravitational pull from places like mars it will make you weightless.

    Mars

Today in class we learned about weight on mars.Did you know that if you were on mars you will weigh less than you do on earth. This will happen because earths weight on earth is weak to what is on mars.
