19 September 2013 1st Hour Advanced Technology Warmup

The newton (symbol: N) is the International System of Units (SI) derived unit of force. It is named after Isaac Newton in recognition of his work on classical mechanics, specifically Newton's second law of motion.

To will investigate the connection between weight, mass, the size of a planet, and gravitational force.

We will complete the experiment together.

If you do not have a username or password I will demonstrate how to complete an account to the whole class.  You should have created an account when we reviewed usernames and passwords.  When we have completed the experiment together answer the questions, "Why would you weight less on Mars?"

You would weigh less than mars than earth.
You would weigh less because it's a smaller planet than us so less gravity. Last but not least, Mar's gravity is 1/3 than ours so we weigh less.

You would weigh less on mars because mars mass is less than earth. their is less gravitational pull on mars than earth.

The reason why you would weigh less on Mars

The reason why you would weigh less on Mars is because there is less gravitationally pull on Mars than Earth. I am fully confident in my answer. Thank you for helping us.
