I believe that this DIY project, is very good. It does not require much help on anything really. And you can DO IT YOURSELF, without much distraction. Kids have made good inventions with the DIY project.

one thing that i found that i thought was interesting was a solar powered charger for all the technology. I think it is interesting and cool because if your phone was going to die u could plug in your phone to it and it would charge from the sun.

I like the Doorbell Spy Camera. You can see who comes to your house. You do not even have to get up to see who is at the door. You can do it your self. Just set it up on your phone.
You just read the article. You could look at all the interesting things. There were a lot of cool things. Some of them were funny.That is how we can do it our self without any directions from the teacher.

Sam van Doorn took a 1970 pinball machine. So the graphic artist turned it into a printer. He tested 50 types of paper as ready-to-ink playing surfaces. He named the machine STYN after his friend Styn Geurts. Who had helped him with this creation.

I think that the inventions are pretty cool.The most interesting is a solar charger.I think it would be cool to make.You would just need a piece of wood,a charger,and a solar pannel,and what you are charging.That is what I think it is most interesting.
I think it helps us to learn how to use directions not from a teacher.I am ok at following directions with out someone telling me how to do it. But some times I need to have help showing me how to do it.But I think it is good to have someone tell us some of it and
have directions too.As you can see I think it is good to have directions and someone tell us.

I think the pinball machine that makes art is interesting.I think it would be fun to make art and play a fun arcade game at the same time.It looks like it makes cool art.Also many people like the pinball and art so I think this it's a good combination.I think people will like this product.
I think the focus of this current project is doing it your self because we need to learn that there always wont be times where you have instruction from a teacher.We will have times where we do but mostly it will be doing it your self.This project is getting us ready for more projects where you only get a little bit of help.Also I think this is getting us ready for work in high school.That is why I think we are doing this project on our own.

I think the inventions are really cool.But the one I find most interesting would be the Virtual Reality Glasses. How they built it was really interesting they used safety glasses,a large piece of cardboard,pencil, a craft knife,tape, and a SmartPhone. That is the most interesting to me cause i think its pretty cool. And its really easy to make one if you want to make one.It doesn't require a lot of things...so that's good. The DIY project is really cool. And i would like to make one of those things.

the DIY that I had picked is make your own DIY solar charger. I think it is interesting because you could keep your gadgets powered even when you’re off the grid. So I could go any where and my phone would be charged. Also because I like to have my phone charged every where I go. I honestly do not think this electric device would work if it is not plugged into the wall with electricity. That is the things i feel is interesting about this awesome grid.
I think that the focus of of this current project is doing it yourself with out the teachers directions. Also trying to work alone without talking to your friends. I honestly think working by yourself is better than working with a partner. Because if your partner do not want to work and wants to jack around. You will get annoyed and not want to work. When people want to play around they do not get that much work done.

I think the helping drone is a really cool idea. It could help people in emergency situations. The reason it could help is it can send critical information to the people controlling the drone. That's a way it could save a life to. We could also use its design to create better drones.
The reason I think we have to work alone is some of us don't know how to work quietly. Or they don't know how to work at all.Another reason is they play games. They also might dislike certain people so they decide not to work.

The invention of making cheap gold is that they trick you into buying fake gold for the price of gold. The article says that tungsten is the same density as gold and you paint it with gold paint. That is how you make fake gold that is a lot like real gold. I think it is interesting because I thought it was cool to check out. I also thought it was interesting because gold is a interesting element and I didn't know that people could make fake gold.
I think that you can do it yourself without directions from a teacher because you would get in HUGE trouble. I think that because it is against the law to fool people. Especially into giving you money for something worth at the most $60. I mean that is super bad to do that. That is why I think it is a self-directed project.

I pick the vertical veggie farm because i think its very interesting because no one has ever tried this before.I like to garden so this might be a way to garden.Maybe it will work or maybe it will work or maybe it won't.It is a cool way to garden.This is why picked the one i picked.
I think that the focus of this current project is learning how to do stuff on your own without directions.I can do things with out directions if it's something i can really focus on.If it is something i dont like i cant really pay attention to it.It will work good if people would work faster.

I like the Potato Chip Speaker.In 1921, two scientists made the first modern loudspeaker out of magnets, wire, and paper. I think it would be cool to make. I think it will be a little messy because the potato chip crumes will get into the charger.As you can see,I like the Potato Chip Speaker.
I think it is hard to work by myself.I can most of the time do things with out directions.Like today I think I need some directions.I think it helps us to learn how to use directions not from a teacher.As you can see,I think it is hard to do this on or own.

DIY is a website that teaches kids (I assume the target audience is kids) cool things that they can make or build with just household items. I believe that they help with kids want to learn science along with Mythbusters and Sick Science. I enjoy doing things like DIY because some of the stuff is really cool. I chose to look at how you can make a speaker out of a potato chip. Science has made so much possible that we can amplify music out of organic material.
I think the reason Mrs.Holmberg had us do this by our selves for two reasons. A)We took too much advantage of her offering for us to pick our partner. B)We need to learn how to work independently and by our selves without verbal instruction. I prefer to work by myself mostly so I can have a final product the way I want it to. Working in groups can be helpful but I don't like it.
