In one paragraph tell, me about the DIY invention and why you think that it is interesting.
In a second paragraph, explain why you think that the focus of this current project is doing it yourself without much direction fro the teacher.

I know that the project is a DIY because it is fast transportation for parents with babies. This would be a few years in the future but they made that change.

I find the hacked pinball machine interesting because it turns the game into art.Why i find that interesting is because.If you try you can make cool art.Plus it would be cool to try and follow the path of the ball.Also if you wanted to see if you played in a pattern then you could just look at the paper.
Why i think that the focus of this current project is doing it yourself without much direction from the teacher is because, Ms.Holmberg wants to see how well can complete a project on our own.She may also be testing our skills on following questions.Also she may be preparing us for our future projects in high school.There mite also be similar projects at a sear-tin time in life that we have to do.That is probably some of the reasons why we are doing the project like this.

I think the dragon that Richard Hamel built is interesting. He came up with the idea when he was watching TV with his grandchildren. He changed a few of the things like he pit wings on it and made it a little heavier. He made it fly at 100 miles per hour. The dragon he built blows out fire.

The DIY invention I picked is a dragon created by Richard Hamel, a radio control plane builder. he got the idea when he was watching How to Train Your Dragon with his grand-children and he noticed the mechanics of the dragons wings. Thinking it could work he started to build his own dragon. It can fly at speeds over 100 miles per hour. He also made it so that it blows puffs of smoke. I think that its interesting because dragons are very interesting themselves so the fact that its metal and does all that is fantastic. Also it's green and yellow, some of my favorite colors.

The DIY invention that i think is interesting is the laser baby monitor! its three lasers that create point sources of light that are tracked by a Wiimote to make sure the baby is breathing. Regular baby monitors use microphones but this one sences if the baby is breathing or not and if no movment within 10 seconds it sounds off an alarm.

They made a bike with wheels that light up. It is interesting because it could prevent accidents. With lights on the bikes wheels it could light up the persons trail. People could see the bike at night. It would really help.
I think the project we are doing now is a diy project because we don't have much direction from the teacher. We have to work things out by ourselves. We look at written directions and go from there. It is an easy project and i think anyone could do it themselves.

The pumpkin carving invention is a pretty cool invention. I like this invention because pumpkin carving can be pretty boring but with this invention it can be fun.

I think the DIY is interesting because they made robot hands and solar chargers and mini rockets.They also made beer makers and all kinds of cool stuff.I think why we are doing it by our self more then getting direction from the teacher so we can learn to do things more for ourselves.

I chose the fire-breathing jet powered dragon. I think it is cool because it can breath fire and fly at 100 m\h.It is small so you can't fly around on it.
I think it is a DIY so we learn how to do stuff ourselves without being told what to do.

The do it your self project. the new father created the baby monitor, is very cool. He made the monitor out of a Wii Remote Analyzer. The DIY project for this man saved him much money.
I think this project is the way it is because we need to learn how to do things on our own. On that note, we are learning 21st Century Skills, in which we can use in the future. Not a lot of people hold your hand to help you create a project.

Paragraph 1:
The DIY Invention I thought was interesting was STYN. I think it's interesting because it turns your pinball game into a poster. I think it's cool because by one game of pinball you have a unique painting. It only took 6 months to do build it. It was a 1970 pinball machine & Sam Van Doorn made it to an artistic usage. I would get it if I had over 1,316!
Paragraph 2:
The Focus of this current project with doing it myself with out much direction from the teacher in good. We're already finished our Go Animate & today we are going to finish our Work Cited. It's pretty easy & if I don't understand the first time I just try to read them again. If I still have trouble then I try to ask Ms. Holmberg. Other then that it has been great!
