Some pros for texting are your get to keep in touch with your friends and family, you get to talk a little more without it being as awkward as it would be face to face, if you need something you could text someone to help you out.
Some cons for texting is you text all the time, you can easily run out of things to say, and you take up more space in words then you would in person

Many students come to the Writing Center after receiving a less-than-satisfying grade on a paper of this kind, hoping that we can help with revision. Or, they turned in a paper like this and were told to do something else for the next paper, and they don’t know what to do. They are frustrated. This is what they did in high school, and they thought their high school classes were supposed to prepare them to write for college. They don’t understand why the professor said they needed to “do more.” Sometimes they’re afraid that they’ll have to throw out everything they learned in high school and re-learn how to write papers.

Some pros of texting would be:
You can text long distances, whereas you couldn't just talk.
Another pro would be that you can stay quiet in places like a library, but still talk to each other.
You can also understand people more clearly (if they don't use text talk).
Some cons would be:
The bright screen can be annoying in certain public areas, like theaters for example.
The clicking of the buttons can also be annoying.

The Pros and Cons of texting are not hard they are pretty easy. One of the Pros is that people don't have to answer the phone or a text. A second Pro can be that people can text things clearly so if someone is texting a person and they can't really understand what the other person texted think about it until it makes sense. A Con is that people are not interacting with other people which in this case can't be good. The second Con is that you can't hear or see the person who you are speaking to.

There are many pros and cons of texting. The first Pro of texting is that if you are sick and don't want to talk then you don't have to. But on the the other hand texting is very dangerous if it is done at the wrong time. Another pro is if you are in trouble with your parents then you don't have to here them yell at you. The last con is if you are sad and need to talk then you cant have any real human sincerity.
