VMS students will be voting between the two Glogs on Monday. Please post the links to the Glogs in the warmup for 12 November 2012 prior to 8:30 AM on Monday. At the end of the day I will create these posts. If I create them now there will be too many posts and it will create confusion.
Feel free to use this thread to ask for clarification or help with any problems you are having with this project. I can answer questions about the next step, guide you with using a Glog, or any other questions you have, just let me know!
I can't tell you how excited the kids are to be working with you. I know they will have an awesome time using Skype and getting to meet you! If you would like to come into any of the classes after the presentation, after break, to meet the students you are more than welcome. I have 6th grade technology 2nd (8:36-9:39), 3rd (9:42-10:45), and 4th (10:48-11:51).

Yes. The students posted images that describe their interest today. You will want to have at least one aspect of the Glog represent each group member. They VMS students also posted suggestions for titles of the Glog. On Monday, the students will vote between the college student's Glogs to determine which they like best. On Tuesday, you will discuss, as a group the best way to present. On Wednesday we will present on Skype. We will present all six Glogs each hour. We would like at least one college student to call in each hour. I will post my Skype information and times that you will be able to practice calling if you want to before the presentation.

ReplyDeleteI just want to clarify some details that I am a little confused about. Our instructor told us on Blackboard that our Skype session is going to be on Tuesday. From the message you posted, it looks like we are having another skype session the next day? I have classes from 8 am to 2:30 and have to be at work from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. I really want to be apart of this project every step of the way, however this coming week is a crucial week for me because all my classes are either having tests or preparing for an upcoming test before thanksgiving break. If there is another skype session on wednesday, could I possibly do mine with the class on Thursday instead? That is really my only day I do not have any classes. I apologize if this brings any inconvience, but I am trying to get everything accomplished. Let me know your ideas on this matter. Thank you!
We are doing all of our presentations on Wednesday. I will follow up with Dr. Massey. I can arrange for you to Skype with the class next Thursday if you want to talk to them. I am at professional development on Thursday and they will be with a sub. I am sure they would really like to meet you.
