I can tell by looking at the top of my keyboard if the wireless is on, is if the wireless light is on. I can tell if i am using LAN if the cords are plugged in my computer. I don't see how to tell by looking at my screen though.
How i can tell if the wireless is on by looking at the top left corner of the keyboard to see if it is on. To see if my LAN is on then i see if my internet cords are plugged in to the computer.

You can find out if your Wireless internet is on by looking at the light at the top right hand side of your computer keyboard.
