I think what happened to him is what he deserved. He did something he wasn't supposed to do that is illegal. Most things that people do that are illegal isn't giving people personal information.
I think that it is 100% fair. He has probably hacked many other things to. Including Facebook accounts.

I think that, that was not really good idea to send him to prison.just because he had a lot of emails .!

what i think about this article is that i think it was good that he went to prison because i wouldn't like for strangers to know my address.

I think the sentence is too harsh. 3 years of pronation isnt that bad, but 73,000 dollars is too much for just emails. Its just like reading someone else texts

In my own opinion I think that this is fair and not too harsh. He hacked thousands of of emails which is looking through privacy of others personal information.

I think that this is a little harsh. The reason why I think that is that he doesn't really need three years of probation. But I think that he does deserve to pay $73,000. those are my thoughts.

I don't think it is fair. Sure he could have done much more harsh damage, but they could've exchanged he flaw for him to have maybe a 30 day sentence.

I believe this is one-hundred percent fair. HE had the choice to do it, HE chose to do it, so why wouldn't HE have to suffer the consequences? He could have caused a lot of problems for the people that receive phone service from AT&T and he won't learn anything if the just let him off the hook with a warning. He knows that what he did was bad and still made the choice to do so. So, years in prison would be fair.

i think that this is very fair.He unofficially hacked the AT&T services. he could have caused a lot of trouble! It might be a lot but he deserved it!! he could have made it so hard for the people that have AT&T!!! It is extremely fair!!!

Yes I think this is fair because he went into peoples personal information. It's not harsh because he deserves it for hacking into thousands of peoples emails.

i think this is fair because he hacked at&t. he should serve life in jail from the time he is in there to the time he dies. one suggestion that i would give all the companies is that make a new password every day, and have a hacking security system that will detect any body that is hacking that place and notify the police immediatly so then the police can catch the culprit right away!!!!!!!

I believe that the punishments are fair. As identity theft is no joke. Also giving away others Email addresses to people who will use them for the wrong reasons should be punishable as he was.

i think that what he did was wrong and that its not right because some people do have stuff they don't wont other people to see. So its a good thing hes going to be locked up.

I think it is fair. But instead of sending him to jail they should cut all internet connection of this person. They should should also fine him.

I believe that the hacker deserves to be disciplined for multiple reasons. One is that he caused a lot of trouble for himself and the company. Another is that if he weren't disciplined for it, he would probably continue hacking which would not be acceptable.
