I think that technology helps nature. It is allowing us to communicate with animals as best we can. Also because it helps us keep nature clean sometimes.And Sometimes nature can advance by itself but, sometimes technology and humans have to help. Plus, technology helps us learn about nature, for example, without technology we would not know about deep sea animals, and we wouldn't know as much about animals.

Technology is bad on nature because kids a supposed to play outside but parents are buying there children Iphone's, Ipad's, Laptop's and its ruining nature's purpose. When adult's take and buy a 9 year old an Iphone for there birthday it shows that they want there child to be non-active in the world. Technology is freezing children's brain's and the only part not frozen is the part that involves technology. They want there children to have the internet and not there mind. Children need to be showed how to not use technology for every thing and learn to think.

People are constantly trying to keep up with the latest devices, and this means that more products are going into landfills when they are replaced by newer models. Advances in technology lead to more pollution, and often more destruction to the planet.
I think technology has hurt the environment in 2 ways. The first being the shear amount of waste that is piled up in garbage dumps and landfills- even though it could be recycled! What really sticks out in my mind are cell phones- how many I’ve gone though since getting my first. I have a suspicion that they are purposely designed to only have a 1-3 year lifespan… especially the new ones! (Smart phones being 3 month or so lifespan) so that you HAVE to buy a new one, renew your contract, etc.
The other way I think technology has hurt the environment is that it has made people very very lazy and spoiled. This is exhibited by the mass amounts of electronic garbage, but also modern conveniences that aren’t completely necessary add up to a lot of waste and pollution. I’m talking about air conditioning, cars, fans, microwaves, bottled water and plastic to go cups and containers just to begin the list. I’m starting to realize more and more how dependent I myself am on these conveniences, and I’m trying my best to wean myself off of them.

Technology both helps and hurts nature. First of all, the video we watched showed that technology helps the dolphins for communication. Also, helps find cures for animal disease. Next, it hurts nature from air pollution and kills fish for bears, which it screws up the food chain. Last, but not least computer navigation for boats usually screw up and crash and cause oil spills. In conclusion, that is why technology is both helpful and harmful.
